Passes

Passes (commonly referred to as "punchcards") are a flexible, non-recurring payment option for your clients. Unlike recurring plans, passes allow clients to purchase a specific number of visits upfront and use them at their own pace. Pike13 offers prepaid, single visit, and complimentary passes for clients.

Prepaid Passes

Prepaid Passes allow clients to buy a set number of visits in advance (e.g., a 10-pack for $100) and allow you to collect full payment before services are rendered. They offer a middle ground between one-time drop-ins and long-term memberships.

You define the number of visits and the expiration range (e.g., 10 visits valid for 6 weeks). After purchase, each time a client books a session, Pike13 will automatically deduct one visit from their pass.

Creating Prepaid Passes

  1. At the top of any Pike13 page, click Settings, then click Passes
  2. Click  + New Pass on the right.
  3. Under What new pass? click + New Pass.
  4. Set the following:
    1. Name: the name of the pass that clients and staff will see
    2. Short and Full descriptions
    3. Terms and Conditions
  5. Click Next Step for pricing information.
  6. Set the following:
    1. Price: this is for the entire pass
    2. Visits: the number of times the pass can be used
    3. Pass expiry: the amount of time the pass will be valid
    4. Applicable taxes: any sales taxes
    5. Revenue Category
  7. Click Next Step to set sales restrictions and membership status for clients with this pass.
  8. Click Save to make the new pass available for purchase.

Single Visit Passes

Single Visit Passes are automatically built for every service when setting up the Single-Visit Price. Pike13 uses this pass type to handle anyone paying for a single appointment or class.

  • Key Logic: It is valid only for the specific session it was purchased for.

  • Benefit: It removes the friction of requiring a multi-visit pass for someone who wants to try a class one time.

Complimentary Passes

Complimentary passes are a powerful marketing tool for new attracting new clients. They are designed to lower the barrier to entry for prospective members. Pike13 automatically adds this pass type to new client profiles

Creating Complimentary Passes

  1. At the top of any Pike13 page, click Settings, then click Passes
  2. Click  + New Pass on the right.
  3. Under What new pass? click + New Complimentary Pass.
  4. Set the following:
    1. Name: the name of the pass that clients and staff will see
    2. Short and Full descriptions
    3. Terms and Conditions
  5. Click Next Step for pricing information.
  6. Set the following:
    1. Price: this is already set to free
    2. Visits: the number of times the pass can be used, usually 1
    3. Pass expiry: the amount of time the pass will be valid
    4. Revenue Category
  7. Click Next Step to set membership status for clients with this pass.
  8. Click Save to issue this pass to new clients as their profiles are created.
