Reviewing Student Skills

Reviewing Student Skills

Review all skills for a given student outside of a scheduled event.

  1. At the top of any Pike13 page click Settings, then Skill Tracking.
  2. Select the program of interest.
  3. Click the Students tab.
  4. Search for and select the student of interest.
  5. You will see a summary of progress, such as number of skills, sessions and hours completed in this program. Sessions and hours are tied to the student's enrollments.
  6. You will see all of their rated skills below along with their rating history and notes about the skill/rating added by instructors.

When evaluating skills during a class, the following improvements are now in place:

  • Auto-loaded skill level:
A student's most recently trained level now loads automatically when you open their evaluation, so you no longer need to manually re-select it each session.
  • Set All / Apply to All: You can now apply a pass or fail to all skills in a program at once using the Set All or Apply to All option, rather than rating each skill individually.
  • Individual level display: When multiple students are enrolled in the same event, each attendee's skill level now displays individually, making it easier to differentiate progress across the group.

Leaving Notes for Student Skills

  1. On any roster for a service with applicable skills you can select the Skills tab.
  2. Rate the skill progress appropriately and then leave a note on the service event.
  3. You can select Private or Public for the note to show staff side only or client side as well.
