If you are transferring ownership of your business, Pike13 requires that you as the current Primary Owner submit a notice of ownership change in writing, including the name of the new Owner and the date of the ownership change to Pike13 at help@pike13.com. We will follow up with next steps.
Below are steps the current owner and new owner should consider when transferring ownership.
- Change the Primary Owner
The current primary owner will need to add the new owner to Pike13 in staff with the role of Owner. Once they have been added the current Primary Owner can change the new owner’s role from Owner to Primary Owner.
- Revoke staff privileges
If the previous primary owner is no longer a staff member at the business then the new Primary Owner can revoke the previous owner’s privileges under Staff > choose previous primary owner > Advanced Actions > Revoke Staff Privileges.
- Update the business's credit card
The new Primary Owner will need to update the billing info for the Pike13 subscription under Settings > Billing Info > Update Your Card. The new owner should also reach out to help@pike13.com to notify Pike13 of this change and request the billing records are updated.
- Update Payment Processing
Please contact your current merchant service provider to request a change ownership. Please note, credit cards are not stored in Pike13. If the new owner is setting up a new merchant account, this may require a transfer of credit card data.
- Rebranding Pike13 Site
The new owner can change the name, logo and choose new colors for the site. If the new owner wishes to change the Pike13 URL for the site, they will need to reach out to help@pike13.com with the current URL and the requested new URL.
