What Is a Look?

A Look is a saved report in Premium Reporting. It displays data in a single focused view — as a table, chart, map, or other visualization. Pre-built Looks are organized into your Clients & Staff and Financial folders and are ready to use right away.

Tip - You can click, filter, and explore a Look as much as you want without affecting anyone else. The only way to permanently change a Look for all users is to click Edit and save your changes.

Opening a Look

  1. Go to Premium Reporting and navigate to a folder you have access to (e.g., Clients & Staff or Financial).
  2. Click the title of the Look you want to view.

Reading a Look

When you open a Look, you'll see:

  • The title of the report.
  • How recently the data was queried — hover over the relative time (e.g., "5 minutes ago") to see the exact date and time.
  • The time zone the data is displayed in.
  • The data itself — as a table, chart, or other visualization.

For table views, you can click any column header to sort the data, and hover over it to see a definition of that column.

Changing the Time Zone

Time zone affects time-based filters like "Today" or "Yesterday," so you may want to adjust this if your data spans multiple regions.

  1. Click the Time Zone shown in the upper right corner of the Look.
  2. Select your preferred time zone from the dropdown.

Drilling into Data

Looks aren't just static views — you can click into the numbers to see the detail behind them.

Drilling into a table value:
Click on any number in the data table (e.g., "20" in a "Total Remaining Visits" column). A Details window will pop up showing exactly which records make up that number.

Caution - If the Details window hits its row limit, a Download Results link will appear at the top so you can export the full list.

Drilling into a chart or visualization:

  • Hover over a bar, slice, or data point to see a quick summary.
  • Click a data point to see the specific records behind it (e.g., clicking an "Appointment No Show" bar shows the 25 individual no-show appointments).

Viewing on Mobile

When using a touchscreen device:

  • Tap a data point to see a summary.
  • Press & Hold a data point to drill into the data behind it.
  • Press & Drag across a chart to see information about each data point as you move across it.
