In Pike13, a Non-Client is defined as someone who has an account but does not personally take classes or services. This role is most commonly used for parents or guardians who exist in the system solely to pay bills and manage schedules for their children.
If a parent was accidentally created as a "Client,", you can change their status to "Non-Client."
How To Make A Person A Non-Client
-
Click Clients in the top navigation menu.
-
Search for and select the name of the person you wish to change.
-
Look for the Advanced Actions menu in the right-hand sidebar.
-
Select Make [Client Name] a Non-client.
Result:
-
The profile is now designated as a "Non-Client."
-
They will be hidden from your default "Active Clients" list to prevent clutter.
What Happens Next?
Changing a status to Non-Client does not delete the account or block access.
-
Searchable: You can still find them by searching for their name in the Client List.
-
Account Access: They can still log in, pay bills, and manage their dependents' schedules.
- Self-Scheduling: If they decide to take a class in the future, they can still book themselves into an event (which will automatically flip their status back to "Client").
