 Sample Premium Reports

Sample reports are step-by-step recipes for building some of the most commonly requested reports in Premium Reporting. They're a great way to get familiar with how Explores work — and once you've built one, you can save it to your Personal Folder to run it again anytime.

Client Milestones

Use this report to find all active clients who have reached a specific number of completed visits — perfect for recognizing milestones like a client's 10th, 50th, or 100th class.

Setting Up the Report

  1. Click the Reporting icon (bar graph) in the upper right corner of any Pike13 page.
  2. Select Premium Reporting.
  3. From the left menu, click Explores.
  4. Under Clients & Staff, select the Clients report.
  5. Clear any pre-loaded fields by clicking the Gear icon and choosing Remove.
  6. Add the following fields:
    • Under Client: First Name, Middle Name, Last Name, Email
    • Under Visits: Completed Visits

Setting Up Filters

  1. Click the Filter icon next to Client Status and set it to: is equal toActive
  2. Click the Filter icon next to Completed Visits and set it to: is equal to(enter your milestone number, e.g. 10)
  3. Click Run.

Example: To find all clients who have completed exactly 10 visits, set Completed Visits to is equal to 10.

Members Within a Date Range

Use this report to see which clients had an active membership (pass or plan) during a specific time period.

Setting Up the Report

  1. Click the Reporting icon (bar graph) in the upper right corner of any Pike13 page.
  2. Select Premium Reporting.
  3. From the left menu, click Explores.
  4. Under Clients & Staff, select the Client Passes & Plans report.
  5. Clear any pre-loaded fields by clicking the Gear icon and choosing Remove.
  6. Add the following fields:
    • Under Client: First Name, Last Name, Email
    • Under Plan: Pass/Plan Name
    • Under Dates: Start Date, End Date

Setting Up Filters

  1. Click the Filter icon next to Pass/Plan Name, Start Date, and End Date to add all three filters.
  2. Set values for each:
    • Pass/Plan Name: Select all the plans and passes that qualify a client as a member.
    • Start Date: Set to the earliest date you want to include (plans purchased on or before this date).
    • End Date: Set to the end of your date range to include only active products.
  3. Click Run.

EXAMPLE:  To find all members who were active during 2024, set Start Date to on or before January 1, 2024 and End Date to on or before December 31, 2024.

Transactions by Invoice Item for a Custom Date

Use this report to view a breakdown of transactions by invoice item for a specific date range. This is a great alternative to the default "This Month" view when you need to run financial reports for a custom period.

Setting Up the Report

  1. Click the Reporting icon (bar graph) in the upper right corner of any Pike13 page.
  2. Select Premium Reporting.
  3. From the left menu, click Financial.
  4. Select Transactions by Invoice Item - This Month.
  5. In the upper right corner of the report, click the Gear icon and select Explore from Here.
  6. Click the down arrow next to Filters to expand the filter panel.
  7. Scroll down to Transaction Created Date and click the filter dropdown.
  8. Change is in the past to is in range, then enter your start and end dates.
  9. Click Run.

Note -  Date Range Filters: Looker uses "until (before)" logic for end dates. To capture all of January 2024, set your range to 2024-01-01 until (before) 2024-02-01.

Members List by Location

Use this report to see a list of current members filtered by a specific location — especially useful for multi-location businesses.

Setting Up the Report

  1. Click the Reporting icon (bar graph) in the upper right corner of any Pike13 page.
  2. Select Premium Reporting.
  3. From the left menu, click Clients & Staff.
  4. Select Current Member Count.
  5. In the upper right corner of the report, click the Gear icon and select Explore from Here.
  6. In the field list on the left, scroll to Clients and click the down arrow to expand it.
  7. Click Location Name to add it as a column.
  8. Click the Filter icon next to Location Name to add it as a filter.
  9. Click Run.
  10. Under Filters, scroll to Clients Location Name and select the location you want to view.
  11. Click Run again to apply the location filter.

Tip - Automate Any Sample Report
Once you've built and saved a sample report to your Personal Folder, you can schedule it for automatic delivery straight to your inbox — daily, weekly, or monthly. This is especially useful for recurring reports like milestone tracking or monthly member lists. See Scheduling Report Deliveries for instructions.

Tip -Adding  more fields

To customize this report further, go to All Fields in the left panel. Fields highlighted in blue are already included. Click any additional field name to add it, then click Run to refresh the report.
