When a client cancels or no shows for a group class or appointment service, a make-up pass can be manually issued by a staff member. This is useful when you want to make an exception to your cancellation policy and allow the client to make-up the visit at a later date.
In this article
Issue Make-up Passes
- Select Schedule
- Go to the Roster for the event.
- Click the Gear next to the client's name
- Mark client as Canceled or No Show.
- Select Issue a make-up
- Select a Reason and enter additional details about the reason the make-up pass was issued
Revoke Make-up Passes
To revoke a make-up pass within the Roster:
- Go to the Roster for the event
- Click the Gear next to the client's name
- Revoke the make-up.
To revoke a make-up pass through a person's profile:
- Go to the client's Dashboard
- Select Plans & Passes
- Click on the make-up pass
- Select Cancel on the right hand side
Warning
Cannot Revoke Make-up Pass
A make-up pass cannot be revoked if the pass was already used to pay for a visit.
Notifications
Owners and Manager can receive a notification when a staff member issues a make-up.
- Click on the Bell icon (Notifications)
- Choose Settings
- Scroll down to the Client Management notifications
- Select Edit next to A staff member issues a make-up
- Choose how you want to be notified
- Click Save
See Why a Make-up Pass Was Issued
Make-up Passes will appear under Plans & Passes and contain the service the make-up pass is for. To see the staff member who issued the pass and the reason why it was issued go into the pass itself.
- Go to the Client's Dashboard
- Select the Make-up Pass
- Look under Overview > Make-up
