For businesses with limited spaces or resources, a waitlist is a great way to ensure that clients always have a shot of getting into a class. Waitlists also minimize the impact of cancellations and help business owners better understand the demand for each class time.
In this article
Enabling a waitlist on a class
- Select Settings > Services
- Select the class that you want to change
- Select Details
- Select Edit next to the Waitlist
- Enable the Waitlist
- Set the Waitlist limit per class
- Define the behavior for enrollment from the waitlist (Automatic or Manual)
- If Automatic, determine how many hours before the event someone can be enrolled from the waitlist
- Click Save

Classes are the only service type that you can enable waitlists.
Adding clients to a waitlist
If the class is fully booked, you will be asked whether you want to enroll anyway or add the client to the waitlist
- Select Schedule
- Choose the class your client wants to sign up for
- Select Add Clients
- Choose the client(s) you want to add to the waitlist
- When you are finished choosing Clients, click Finish in the upper or lower right hand side
- Choose whether or not you want to notify the client they've been added to the waitlist
- Click Finish
Manually enrolling clients from the waitlist
- Select Schedule
- Choose the class
- Click on the green up arrow icon to the right of the client(s) you want to enroll from the waitlist into the class
- Choose whether you want to notify the client
- Click Finish

Enrollment Reports
Use the Enrollments Report in Reporting to see all of your waitlisted clients by filtering [Status] [is] [Currently on Waitlist]
Automatically enrolling clients as space becomes available
The client at the top of the waitlist will automatically be enrolled if space becomes available. This will only occur if space becomes available before automatic enrollment stops.
To prioritize the waitlist:
- Select Schedule
- Choose the class
- Click on the up or down arrows to the left of the client names place them in the correct order for the waitlist
Removing clients from the waitlist
- Select Schedule
- Choose the class
- Click on the gear next to the client and select Remove from Waitlist
- Choose whether you want to notify the client
- Click Finish
Warning
Enrollment Requirements and Waitlist.
If the service has a pass/plan as an enrollment requirement, and the client does not have an applicable pass/plan, they will not be able to add themselves to the waitlist from the client site. They will just see that the class is full.
