Service Categories

Service categories allow you to group together different services on your client-facing Pike13 Website. Once you created custom service categories, you have the option to create a page that lists all your service categories or create a page to that lists all of your services in a specific service category. Service categories are also useful for reporting and are included in the enrollment, schedule and payroll reports.

Adding a new service category

1. At the top of any Pike13 page, click on Settings and select Services
2. From the menu on the right-hand side, click Manage Categories
3. To add a new service category, click on + New
4. Add the Category Name, Summary and a full Description. In the full Description, you can also add pictures and links.
5. To add services to this category, select Add More at the bottom of the page and click on each service you wish to add.
6. Select Save

Editing an existing service category

1. At the top of any Pike13 page, click on Settings and select Services
2. From the menu on the right-hand side, click Manage Categories.
3. To edit an existing service category, click on +Edit.
4. From here, you can update the Category Name,Summary and full Description.
5. To add services to this category, select Add More at the bottom of the page and click on each service you wish to add.
6. To remove a service, click on the service in the list.
7. Select Save

Creating a new page in your Pike13 Website

1. At the top of any Pike13 page, click on Settings and select Pike13 Website.
2. Click on Navigation at the top of the page.
3. To add a new page, select +Create a New Page.
4. Add the Page Name.
5. For Link to, you can choose to show a list of all of your service categories and add Custom Page Text or show the list of services included in one specific service category.
6. Select Save
