A course—also sometimes called a bootcamp, clinic, event, seminar, series, or workshop—is a sequence of classes that have a specified start and end date. Previously, your clients could only sign up for a course on your Pike13 website before the course began. If they tried to sign up after the start date, clients would need to contact a staff member to enroll. Now, you can configure your course to allow your clients to enroll after the course begins!
Staff Member Widget
Along with the Class & Course Schedule widget, you can now display staff members as a widget on your website. Navigate to Settings > Apps & Add-ons > Staff Member Widget to get the code and drop it on your site. This makes it quick and easy for your clients to navigate from your website to your Pike13 schedule.
People Picker User Experience Improvements
We display lists of people in Pike13 all over the place – the client list, the staff list, the list of clients when you are choosing who to enroll, today’s birthdays… the list goes on. The team stepped back and looked at all the places we display people – making sure we display them consistently and in a way that’s useful for you. Some of these improvements include an improved people picking experience in client enrollment and making sure photos show up when you search for clients.
New API Endpoints
For folks leveraging the Pike13 API to build custom integrations, we launched a couple new endpoints:
- Reporting APIs – Now you can access Pike13 reporting data directly from our APIs.
- Event API – This endpoint returns the details of on of the service schedules. For example, you can use this to get the start and end dates of a course.
- Appointment Availability Slots – This endpoint will return the availability for a given appointment service.
- We also redesigned the API documentation at developer.pike13.com to make it easier to navigate and find what you’re looking for!
