Do you sell non-service items like apparel, accessories, food, or fees? If you're on the Pike13 Advanced Plan, you can add these types of merchandise to your Pike13 business. Please note that merchandise is not visible to clients on your Pike13 website—only staff members can view and sell these items directly through your Pike13 account..
Adding a Merchandise Item
- At the top of any Pike13 page, select Settings
- Click on Merchandise,
- Select + New Item on the right hand side
- Enter a name and a price
- Choose a revenue category (usually Retail), and then add a description
- To add size, color, flavor, and other options, select + New Option, and then do the following:
- Under Name of option, enter the type of options, like Color.
- Select Add a value, and then under Option Value, enter a word or phrase describing the option, like Blue. If there is more than one value, select add a value. Continue adding values, if needed.
- Under Price adjustment, enter the additional amount to charge for the option, if needed. Repeat for each different option value.

When to use options
Options act as required details that must be selected before completing a merchandise sale. If a merchandise item has options set up, staff are required to make a selection for each option during the sale. For example, if you’re selling hoodies, you might create two options: one for size and one for color. When a staff member sells a hoodie, they’ll need to specify both the size and the color chosen by the client to complete the order.

When to use Add-ons
Use add-ons to offer optional, extra features that can be included with the purchase. For example, you might offer monogramming on apparel, a shake up with protein power or balloons for a party package.
+ New Add-on
- enter an add-on name
- under Price adjustment, enter the additional amount to charge for the add-on.
- After adding Options and Add-ons, click Create
- To add a photo of the product, on the page for the item, click + New Photo, select Choose File, choose the image file you want, and then click Upload.
- To change the order of the option values, select Edit and click the arrows to the left of each option to move it up or down.

Checking your options & add-ons
To check that you’ve set up the item’s options and add-ons correctly, go to Store and click on the merchandise item. Proceed to set up the sale by choosing each of the options and add-ons. Once you are done checking the item, you can remove each one from the shopping cart.
